WELCOME TO THE MULE.
We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of London's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From Baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

    I booked this reservation in advance for my girlfriend and me, but upon arrival, the staff didn’t seem to know we were coming. Unfortunately, we were seated upstairs next to a large birthday party, which made conversation difficult. We would have loved to stay longer and enjoy our time, but the atmosphere wasn’t conducive to that. The food and drinks were great, but the overall experience was impacted by the environment.

    Everything could use a bit of a warm up. We had to send back the calamari app, as it was lukewarm when it arrived. Thank goodness we did, it was great when it was hot! The tacos also seemed to be on the cool side, but the flavours were good. The main floor dining area itself was quite cool too. Some of us had to keep our coats on while eating. Looking forward to giving it another chance on a warmer day.

    The food and service was good. We reserved a table in the dining area but were seated near the entrance. We could feel the draft from the outside every time the door opened and a lot of people traffic around us. Ambience not good. The service and food was good.

    Delicious food and highly appreciate the non-alcoholic drink options. Didn't love the decor but to each their own. The flavour of our meal made up for it. The pork belly taco made me 😍

    I went for Londonlicious. The choice of appetizer was amazing and good value (I tried Dip Dip Hooray which was a nice way to try the 3 offered apps.) The choice of 2 tacos were ok (I did the maple pork and the sweet potato haloumi - sweet potatoe was the better taco) The desert was an overcooked small piece of brownie. The bill is split up based on the course. There is no way that brownie was worth $10.50. I would eat here again but wouldn’t do the prix fixe for Londonlicious. The desert ruined it for me.
