The Mulholland. A new neighborhood restaurant at the end of its famed namesake Drive. We are local family-owned and rooted in two generations of hospitality expertise. At The Mulholland, we're all about taking a thoughtful approach to New American cuisine in an environment created for memorable experiences around every plate and glass. Our creative menu crafted by Culinary Director Chef Chris Flint (Eleven Madison Park, NoMad) and Chef de Cuisine Michele Carter (Barbara Lynch Collective) infuses energy into crave-worthy dishes that are artfully crafted with seasonal, local and organic ingredients. With a beverage program to match this ethos, our cocktails are playful spins on the classics and our vibrant wine list is largely organic and off the beaten path. First time here and we were very impressed by the curb appeal for starters. We had an early dinner reservation and we were seated immediately, indoors as requested, although there is a cozy heated outdoor space as well. Our server Cali was friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions to enhance the experience. We started with a Pink Skies and Free Bird cocktail, which were not only delicious but also very pretty. Our meal was, oysters, beets and burrata salad, you have to try the house made focaccia bread, which was the best focaccia I’ve ever had. For the main course, tagliatelle and Petaluma chicken. Dessert was a chocolate mousse with passion fruit purée. Service, ambience, food, cocktails I give a 10 out of 10. Delicious. Would recommend, would return.

From the friendly way they greet you at the door, to the friendly banter with our waiter, to how excited they are for you to experience each dish (I haven’t even gotten to the food yet), it was an “experience!” My husband loves hamburgers… especially at steakhouses that don’t have them on the menu… so for him to say this was the BEST burger, is saying something! Oh, and to say their wine selection is excellent, is an understatement! Even by the glass, their Pinot Noir was memorable! We can’t wait to return!

My wife, daughter and I went to Mulholland last evening to celebrate my birthday and took an expensive bottle of chardonnay. As we hadn't previously dined at this restaurant and were unaware of their corkage policy. Upon hearing it is $45 per bottle we informed our waiter that it was unacceptable and were leaving to dine elsewhere. Our waiter then spoke with the manager who opted to waive the onerous corkage charge. Thanks to our waiter, don't recall his name, for requesting this accommodation. Unfortunately, his name also wasn't included on the bill. He recommended the $25 burger and the mushroom appetizer that the three of us all enjoyed. that we all enjoyed immensely.

Very creative and tasteful food. Friendly staff. Overall ambiance was needed here in Calabasas. Cabarnet(s) from the owner’s family winery is also very nice.

I booked a last minute reservation hoping my husband and I could decompress after a week of houseguests and Thanksgiving festivities and The Mulholland did not disappoint. We took other reviews to heart and ordered a few things to share. The focaccia with pizza butter was so warm and comforting and the Japanese sweet potatoes were amazing. My husband has already requested I work on replicating that one at home. For an entree we split the scallops. Amazing. We will be back.
