The food was mostly good, but the gammon egg and chips were dry and needed more sauce. The service was slow, though. Too many tables for the kitchen capacity? The atmosphere was friendly and lively.

Very poor experience. Had a table booked for Christmas Eve, arrived and was told there was no booking for us and they had no more availability. Not sure what went wrong with their system as they didn’t actually tell us. They did offer us a table but it was for 2 and half hours later... really not ideal. Didn’t seem very sympathetic about it either.

Restaurant was cold as front door was open. Service very slow and food of a poor standard, waitresses very young and inexperienced and staff changed halfway through meal. Half an hour wait for deserts and were told a trainee was the reason. Will not be returning.

Quite noisey , but food and service good . It was a Monday , so not too busy , but would prob be very noisey on weeekends 🙁

Absolutely outstanding service from the whole team especially the effort made to extend the booking on arrival from 4 to 5 people. Orders taken and food delivered promptly, as were drinks on arrival, all conveniently booked to the table. Food quality was good VFM: plentiful and well presented although my Wagu Burger was rather massive with the addition of the haloumi! Deserts were super and the whole evening was most enjoyable. Look forward to a return visit soon. Thanks to all at the Nags Head.
