   We ate at the Nesst in downtown Noblesville. The ambience and the food are wonderful, spot on. Doug was our waiter. He was quite awesome. Explained every detail and every special. The experience was quite pleasant. I had taken two of my best friends to The Nesst to celebrate my move to the north side. I would recommend it to anyone. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a steak to enjoy the food.

   I had not been here in a few years but decided to try again for a dinner with another couple last Friday night. We sat at a table in the bar and the atmosphere was lovely, drinks were good (dirty martini for me, bullet and coke for my husband). Our server was very good, personable and accomodating. Where things went a little sideways is that we were there for 1 hr and 45 minutes before we got our food. It was also like this the last time we ate here, quite a long time ago. The restaurant was not busy, in fact, when using the ladies room around 730/8 it was pretty empty. I don't know how it could have taken nearly 2 hours to get our food to the table. Granted, we didn't order the second set sat down, we socialized, ordered a drink, etc, but even if we took the first 45 minutes, how could it take another hour to get our dinner? It was really, really slow. Also, $58 for a 10oz filet and $8 for a side cup of potatoes, with nothing included, not even garnish just seemed way over priced. I like the Nesst, I like their story, but the service seems a little off and value for the $ just isn't there. Perhaps that why it wasn't very busy on a Friday evening. Kind of disappointed and probably will try another place next time.

   Steak was overcooked. Serviced was slow so no one checked and I just ate it. Heard wonderful things but experience was just okay. We were in the dining room by the entrance and it was very loud. Might give it a second chance, but left feeling disappointed, which was a shame because it was our anniversary.

   This was our 4th visit and we were extremely disappointed. The steak bites were over seasoned overcooked and dry and the sauce was tasteless. The salads were meager and lacking flavor. The wine was warm and the Chef’s special steak came without the crust. Service was slow this our favorite waiter Rich was as attentive as possible given he was serving an entire full dining room

   This is our second time to Nesst. Both experiences have been excellent. We love the bar vibe. The dining room is also very nice. Service is consistently great. The menu is eclectic with both unique and staple entrees. The owner stopped by to thank us and we ended talking a lot about the unique menu entrees. We plan to try some of the Serbian options next time. We really love this local restaurant and feel valued as a patron. As we left, the mgr mentioned a jazz brunch (early March) they were hosting… def want to try!

    Excellent service to begin with. And the setting is perfect for date night. Our waitress helped us pick our meals and she was spot on. Everything was perfect. Wine selection is excellent. We will return and bring friends and family.
