   We have been customers of the North Hero House for more than 25 years and this was one if the best meals we've ever had. Thanks to all for making this a very special even.

   We all enjoyed our meals and the creme brulee was the perfect finish. Perfect spot to gather on a cold Vermont night. Very cozy. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

   We were VERY disappointed with the quality and selection of the food and that you add $4 per cup of coffee which should be included for $25 buffet. The scrambled eggs had been sitting in the warmer so long that they had the consistency of styrofoam. The pancake edges were rock hard and inedible. The quiche was so overcooked that it was nearly black--though I am told the filing was 'okay' but this is from someone who will eat almost anything. He also said the sausage was good, so there's that. And then to pay an additional $10 to order a freaking omelet?! What the hell? Really, the view is not THAT spectacular to want to spend nearly $40 for a buffet meal. The website did NOT mention that the monthly brunch was a buffet, which we were surprised to see. I would not have chosen a buffet for a special Sunday meal out with my sweetie or ever, for that matter. Germs, you know? Overall, very dissatisfied.

   We had a lovely dinner! The Zuppa di Pesce special was outstanding and the clams casino, lobster cake and house salad were also terrific! The chef even stopped by tables to see how everything was. The server was attentive and very nice and the ambience was warm and cozy on a cold snowy evening! Thank you!

   Made a rez for new years eve dinner here. Charity casino night event also happening. Fun atmosphere/environment with the NYE celebrations going on. Had to wait a little while for our table. Very busy. No bread or salad included and NYE menu was different than/more expensive than usual menu. Not bad but for the price not amazing. Our waitress was very nice. New ownership and renovations. Art and decor interesting but miss the old vibe. Busy evening. Games after dinner were fun but process for prizes etc. was a little unclear. We won't be back again next year, but grateful this place remains open and continues to be a nice resource for the community!

   Traveled up to North Hero to support this local restaurant during the off-season and specifically because they had some gluten-free items marked on the menu. I have eaten here in the past without a problem, but the last two times have not been good, food allergy wise. Almost a year ago I ordered a GF item off the menu and had a severe reaction. Called them the next morning and they told me it was a misprint on the menu. Fast forward to last night, thought I would give them another try since it’s been a year. I wanted to order the pork loin, which is marked GF on the menu, and had the waitress double check with the chef to see if it was gluten-free and she came back telling me it wasn’t!! Very careless and negligent to have a menu with items marked gluten-free that are not!!
