    Another great dinner at the Northport Hotel! We had the two excellent appetizer specials: cold seafood salad and salmon tartare. Entrees included the poached lobster cooked to perfection and the delicious grilled scallops. Dessert was topped off with scrumptious blueberry bread pudding. Best food. Best atmosphere. Best chef.

    The calamari was very rubbery. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas but by the dinner tables - very bland. Not much of decoration going on there. The company was great so it was a nice night.

    Arugula salad was fair. Needed olive oil and salt. Burrata appetizer had a sauce that totally overwhelmed the dish. The marinade for the skirt steak lacked cohesiveness and balance. Bana cream pie was just weird. Tasted like fish. Very disappointing.
