We were celebrating Thanksgiviving with family. As we were not from this area we had no idea what to expect. We were so surprised when we arrived. The entrance was decorated with multiple Christmas trees surrounded by beautiful decorations everywhere. The fire in the fireplace was roaring and the player piano wads playing Holiday songs. The food was impeccable but what made the evening special was the “Southern hospitality” everyone shown us. No one was more delightful than Rebecca our server. She was so sweet and seemed to know what we always needed. The evening was just perfect.

I regret to report that our experience at the Thanksgiving Buffet was very poor. They ran out of food and the food that remained was cold! There is no excuse for running out of turkey at a Thanksgiving Buffet for which we were charged $75 per person! There was no turkey, no stuffing, and they ran out of sweet potatoes, a Thanksgiving staple. The only food left at the "hot" buffet was green bean casserole, salmon, and some kind of sliced beef. I had the green bean casserole and salmon. Both were cold and the salmon was so tough as to be inedible. My husband also had the beef and reported that it was cold. After a couple of bites, neither my husband nor I ate any of what should have been our entree. The only thing I had that was warm was some macaroni and cheese that I got from the "kids bar." The appetizer bar and dessert bars held the only selections that were acceptable. Suffice it to say that we were extremely disappointed. We would certainly never go back to this location. The server was polite and attentive. Really the only good thing about the experience. I rarely write negative reviews and regret doing so in this case, but I could not recommend this restaurant.

We booked what appeared to be a beautiful farm to table restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. What we got was a table in a basement meeting room with minimal bar service , rolled turkey, no stuffing or cranberry sauce, ham stiff as cardboard ,potatoes that had run out and an opportunity to clear our own dish between courses. Others did worse was they had run out of turkey. A few bright spots were excellent shrimp cocktail and the young staff tried. The restaurant itself which was closed looked as expected- the owners should be ashamed of the bait and switch they pulled off here.

Had a lovely dinner at the Thanksgiving buffet at Oaks on the River! The food was delicious, service was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which was an added bonus.

My third visit here and each time has been superb. Our server, Jenny was an excellent and very accomodating. The food was very delicious and we enjoyed the atmosphere as usual.

Prime rib night was amazing! Me and my grandma enjoyed the food and loved the chocolate martini. We definitely are gonna be coming back !

Thursday nights they have a Prime Rib dinner that is great. If you like your meat cooked a little more, ask for it to be thrown on the grill. Tell them whether you like medium, well done or rare. It is priced very reasonable. You can also order of the menu. And they are now serving new desserts. Their happy hour is great too.

Overall amazing experience! Food was amazing and waitress was amazing. You could tell she loved her job and made everything feel so great! We had the short rib and steak.
