   The meals came out at different times and the sides came before the meal. I had the scallop dinner and the plate and food was room temperature and had to send back. Service was great, the table side salad was a hit

   Exceptional Dining Experience at Octagon! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Octagon, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish! The coat check service was efficient and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our waiter, George, was outstanding - attentive, knowledgeable, and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. The food was delicious, and the presentation was impressive. The attention to detail didn't stop at the table. The washrooms were immaculately clean and well-maintained, which speaks to the establishment's high standards. Overall, I highly recommend Octagon to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and an elegant atmosphere makes it a standout in the culinary scene.

   Will never go there again steak was dry mashed potatoes were nothing special and the Caesar salad was not the greatest and they didn’t apply my 50 dollars deposit on my bill

   Went to The Octagon last night and felt that both service and food have gone downhill compared to before. We were here quite a few times in the last year (the last time being December) and couldn’t believe the change in quality in just 2 short months. We ordered 2 medium rare rib eye steaks and they were both tough. I don’t know whether it’s because they’re slightly overcooked or whether the quality of the meat has gone down but they were way worse than what we were served in the last couple times we’re here. The waiter never came over to ask if the steaks were fine. We thought about flagging him down to tell him but decided to let it go since he seemed busy with other tables. However, the experience went further downhill from here. They have now cheapened out even on the scoop of ice cream that they used to give on birthday celebrations. This time, I was told by the waiter there’s no free birthday dessert at all despite me specifying it was a birthday celebration (I even told them it’s a birthday when I booked online). He made me feel embarrassed even for asking. Eventually, he just put a candle next to the tiramisu that I ordered (and paid for myself). Overall, disappointing experience.

   We had an amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone from the ladies at the cost check, to our servers, to the host were incredible, extremely friendly, helpful, kind and made us feel right at home. Garlic bread and relish tray to start, incredible. Tableside ceasar salad seemed like a steep price, but for the freshness, portion, and experience of having the server make the dressing from scratch and put together the whole salad at our table I must say it’s worth it completely. Both the Filet Mignon my girlfriend got the NY Strip I got were amazing, cooked perfectly. The garlic mashed potato’s are also a must, but I will say the fries looked great going to other tables and I may have to try them next time. Overall it felt like they truly went out of their way to give us a 10/10 experience, constantly refilling waters, asking us how things were, coming by to chat and joke just enough but not too much. We really had a great time. The atmosphere is an 11/10, looks even better than it already does in photos and videos. I look forward to our next visit and will definitely be reccomending it to friends and family. Also, to everyone who attended to us, I’m sorry I do not remember your names to thank you in particular in this review! But you gave us an amazing experience (and helped me make the girlfriend very happy) so for that I am extremely thankful. 10/10

   The Octagon has long since been our family's "go to" restaurant for special occasions from Celebrations of Life, to Business Dinners, and of course Birthdays 🎂 The level of service, from the Doorman, to the Coat Check, the Maître D, Wait Staff, Sommelier, is unparalleled. From the time you are warmly welcomed and graciously seated at your extra comfortable table, surrounded by fireplaces, one of a kind stain glass art installations, carvings, and sculptures, the Octagon is a feast for the eyes as much as it is for diners who are always thrilled with the food and they way it's presented. The complimentary garlic bread and relish tray (delicious!) is fast becoming a thing of the past with other steakhouses, but the Octagon is not your average steakhouses; it's an institution and a level above, way above, other establishments. The Waitstaff, from the person pouring you water and clearing your plates, to the person taking your order, to the person presenting your appetizers & main course, decanting your wine, are the most professional Wait Staff I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. They are all warm, friendly, and quite frankly talented as they manage to make you feel relaxed and totally at home in the Octagon's warm and extraordinarily comfortable surroundings . The Wait Staff can deal with the most particular guests with the kind of attention to detail that is pretty much all but gone from today's restaurants. When it's time to leave, you always feel like staying longer and look forward to the next time you can enjoy this spectacular establishment where you know that once again you will be welcomed like family for an evening that is unmatched by any other steakhouse. One last thing! Have an extra special bottle of wine 🍷 that you need to pair with an excellent steak? The Octagon offers a corkage fee for $45. Deal! So what are you waiting for? Treat yourself, your friends, family, and business associates to a delightful time out that is 💯 % fabulous!

    Amazing food, all the way down to the garlic bread and small appetizers they bring out before the food. The steak is cooked like nowhere I’ve ever had before, definitely will be back soon!
