The OGM has been lovingly renovated it took 9 months and opened in April 2022. Originally a historic coaching Inn and listed building it has been totally transformed and modernized to a contemporary cool whilst retaining the old-world charm. It’s the place to be with many offers such as the deli, pizza restaurant, fine food restaurant (Toms kitchen ) fab bar , wine cave , expansive external space including a glazed in area where the roof removes automatically in the better weather! external large patio area and 10 bedrooms to follow next year once refurbished.

Booked here last minute as we had family over from New Zealand with it been Father’s Day everywhere was fully booked and many places required a deposit this for 13 people who maybe didn’t want to eat. We wanted it casual some could have a drink some could eat if wanted. And ogm was suggested to me and turned out to be perfect it wasn’t busy the food was lovely and staff really friendly. Couldn’t fault it at all. We will be back

The food was OK, but we only had the pizza which you cant go wrong with. However, the pub was noisy with kids and a dog running around and there was not really a separate dining area so the noise of the bar was deafening, making the whole experience not very relaxing. The decor made the pub look a bit grubby. On a plus note, the barman was lovely...there was only him and the chef working that night so they were understaffed but he was very polite and helpful. Despite this, we won't be going back.
