Took my Aussie visitors here for a traditional Sunday roast, was great, very tasty food and a great drink selection. The place is very cool and very friendly staff 👍

Beef was chewy. Low grade. Lamb was fatty. Roast potatoes were average at best. Yorkshire pudding was rubbery Veg scarce. Gravy flavourless and watery. Nowhere near as good as I’ve had in other places. I definitely won’t recommend. It was worth half what they are charging. Wine was £30 for an average brand. I think they think they are better than they are. Whatever they served to Timeout to be in their top 10 wasn’t what I received, that’s for sure. We had the table for 75 minutes and were asked to move after taking my £124. They put us downstairs sitting a table with someone else. I’ve never experienced that in my life. On top of this, the bar staff took my wine with about £7 worth still in it (half full) and I had to go to the bar to save it. I won’t be going back.

Sunday roast is excellent. My friend and I had beef and lamb. Tender meat, good savory, soft roasted veg, and crispy potato, everything is a kind of healing. Love the staff, always smiling and serving quickly. Hope there will be more options on the menu, such as pork belly, or ice cream, or cream on cake slice, but it's just a wish! Thanks for providing such a nice meal and experience, will recommend to friends!

The place is beautiful as always and the staff absolutely top notch. They've recently had a change in their kitchen. The veggie burger is gone from the Sunday Roast menu (so my son was disappointed), and the Mushroom Wellington is much more mushroom-flavoured than before, which my wife doesn't like as much. The food was still good, but these small little changes to the kitchen have taken them from "wow! to "Yeah, that was good but let's make sure everyone will be happy before we go"

The service was wonderful and the food came out wonderfully fast. Everything was delicious and we were really looked after. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The food was warm and not hot but it was delicious and we imagine that at such a busy time of day it was understandable. We went at 1:30pm on a Sunday at the end of Black Friday so London was quite busy. It was a great pub in a lovely quaint area and was very accessible by tube and I would definitely recommend it to somebody. We had the vegetarian roast, chicken and beef and the cauliflower cheese and they were all very tasty.
