   Really nice environment to enjoy a meal in. The service was excellent & the staff attentive but not in your face. Would recommend it to everyone. Not a vast menu but something for most people. Prices were reasonable.

   Due to previous table being late arriving, it knocked everyone back meaning we were late to our table - which was a shame. Main course fabulous and the two young waiting staff were lovely.

   A lovely Sunday lunch with friends. Good choice of meats and vegetables. Served on warm plates with extra gravy when requested. Sticky toffee pudding was excellent. Light and very tasty. Service was very good. Staff were attentive and made us feel welcome.

   We have eaten at Pack Horse many times and this was the best meal we have had. Loved the new menu, much more appropriate to the place and less expensive.

   First time at the Pack Horse. We came on a Friday night and the bar was full of noisy punters who were there throughout our meal and disrupted the ambience somewhat. Menu was a bit limited. The food was good although I would have appreciated some green vegetables with my £34 rib eye steak.

    Such a treat, we were served by Sam all night who was delightful helping us with our food and drink choices and telling us about the local area. Music was familiar and easy on the ear. The food was tremendous, we shared the Camembert which was great and perfect for two. I had the vegan option for my main which was outstanding my husband had haggis which he loved and said would have again, high praise! Made the mistake of having a pudding each and sharing, best sticky toffee pudding ever and the apply crumble was perfect. Went home absolutely stuffed! Would highly recommend x
