   Just a lovely place to enjoy delicious food in a really nice environment, we regularly visit for either breakfast or lunch, can't beat it!

   Booked Festive Afternoon Tea for 2 and paid deposit 2 months ago. Arrived on time, shown to table and ordered and served our hot drinks. Waited 25 minutes still no sign of our food. We queried it with waitress who said they were very busy and were waiting for another table of guests having afternoon tea to arrive (not part of our party so I don't know why we were made to wait for them??) . The food eventually arrived another 10 mins later so 35 mins after time table was booked for which is not acceptable, especially when we had had to specify and pay a deposit for Festive Afternoon Tea on booking.By this time our hot drinks were cold so we reordered hot drinks. The food consisted of savoury: one (!) very small turkey and stuffing sandwich each (barely half a slice of bread each), shot cup of soup, 2 mini pigs in blankets and a small glass of prawn cocktail each. sweet: 2 mini cakes, apple tart with meringue and a small glass jar of cheesecake. The quality was good however one sandwich does not in my opinion constitute Afternoon Tea! For the price I expected more food. The real disappointment came when we went to pay. It turns out the hot drinks are NOT included in the price!! The staff took off the price of the second round of hot drinks due to our long wait but we were charged for the first round. Whoever heard of Afternoon Tea where tea is not included?? The staff referred me to the menu where it does not mention drinks being included but I just assumed that it was a given that tea was included with Afternoon Tea. I have consumed many Afternoon Teas in various venues and locations and I have never encountered this before. The staff told me that drinks are not included in their picnic menu which has no relevance as we were having Festive Afternoon Tea not the picnic menu. It would be helpful to update your Festive Afternoon Tea menu to make it clear drinks are not included. Overall a much anticipated occasion turned out to be very disappointing!

   Table ready for us, service a little slower than usual but they were extremely busy, no empty tables. Food, steak baguette with onions and mushroom, with chips very nice. Nice warm meal for a cold day. Restaurant clean, toilets clean.

   This cafe is a little gem. Always need to reserve a table around lunchtimes as it is so popular. Every dish I watch coming from the kitchen screams EAT ME. It is freshly cooked and super tasty. Daily soups are real belly warming and wholesome, bread is to die for and cakes..... I need no words really. The staff are always super friendly and work like a well trained team. Love eating here

   We had an hour shopping before our delicious lunch. We had to return to shopping because we haven’t seen everything. All in all we had a wonderful meal and relaxing and quiet time not forgetting the wonderful staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Thanking you all for a lovely afternoon Susan,Coral and Barbara

    We visited today with my friend and her 8 week old baby, from the start staff understood why we were running late and allocated us a table so we didn’t have time pressures and able to eat a hot meal. Very friendly staff and excellent table service
