Always love going to The Palm!! New York strip is my favorite and my husband got the prime rib special. From the appetizers of Shrimp Bruno and calamari to the desserts of chocolate and carrot cake everything was amazing! And the service was exceptional!!

For decades, The Palm has been one of our go-to fine dining restaurants to have a nice dining experience but today it fell short. Today I decided to take a long term friend for lunch and we both ordered Prime Rib and Caesar Salad. The Caesar Salad was flavorless and it was as if we were provided a bowl of chopped lettuce with a watered down dressing that had no flavor whatsoever. It was the most benign CS I’ve ever had in my life. As for the “Prime” Rib, it was anything but Prime meat and it was as tough as an inexpensive cut of sirloin. Unfortunately, we both had the same opinion. Needless, to say I was disappointed for both of us. Regardless of the substandard fare, our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

We love to celebrate special occasions at The Palm. As NYC transplants to VA, we find The Palm to be nostalgic and "old school" fine dining. The food is consistently good and the wait service is friendly and professional.

They were out of three things our party of 7 ordered, the prices were very high, and the veal chop was tough and fatty. Other dishes were good, but not great for the price.
