Barbecue season never ends at the Palomino Smokehouse!! Situated in the heart of downtown Calgary with the largest smoker in Western Canada. All of our meats are smoked low and slow everyday as we go through pounds of BBQ classics such as Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork and Ribs. Our Smoked Chicken, New Orleans style Catfish Po'boy, award winning Chili and rib-sticking Macaroni & Cheese are also extremely popular with the locals. All of our BBQ sauces (House, Chipotle and Carolina Mustard) and Rubs are made in-house and are gluten free. On weekends we feature the famous Cowboy Brunch, our BBQ-inspired take on breakfast classics which are available for both early and not-so-early risers. We feature a large selection of beer, whiskey, bourbon and other spirits to quench your thirst.

    I took my partner here for his birthday and we both loved it! The staff was nice and attentive. It’s such a treat to have a more relaxed place with delicious food downtown near the Calgary tower. I hadn’t been to Palamino before, but we will definitely be going back!

    Met my kid and his band members for dinner before their performances. We made reservation for 6 and ended up with way more and the restaurant was VERY accommodating. I had the pulled pork meal, was delicious. Meat was tender and juicy with a ceasar salad and beans as a side. Husband had the beef dip with garlic fries and coleslaw. We shared the bourbon apple crumble for dessert. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely return.

    I ❤️ Palomino Smokehouse. The bbq is delicious. The ‘fixings’ offer a good variety of choices, also delicious. The service is great as well!

    The food is amazing. We got the brisket and mac and cheese and the brisket was moist and flavorful and mac and cheese was a hit. The rustic salad hit the spot for a more healthy dish. The service was great and friendly. Would definitely recommend

    New menu is good. Brisket sandwich is outstanding. Miss the chilli that’s no longer available though. Otherwise, all good.
