   In brief: Inconsistent. Service friendly but inattentive. We started off with a pear and prosciutto salad which was excellent. Pears were perfect. Candied pecans were crunchy and not overwhelmingly sweet, plenty of salty prosciutto to balance the pecan, a bed of mixed leaves and a creamy, herby dressing that drew everything together. My companion had filet mignon with chimichurri sauce that they loved. I had the Park Burger which was very greasy. I tried to tell the server when she came over but while she responded brightly to my companion’s appreciation she whirled around and left as I was saying my burger was not good. Even though my burger was pushed to one side uneaten while my companion was over halfway through their steak. By the time anyone else came near the table we’d been finished for a while and I did not want a replacement. Nevertheless, when the busser asked how it was I said “Not great” but he was also not expecting anything but positive comments and did not acknowledge my comment. We had desert - a chocolate tart and a crème brûlée. The tart was unremarkable but pleasant. Chocolate pastry with a nice chocolate mousse. The crème brûlée had a vaguely warm crust with a cold and curdled custard, we did not eat it. No one came to ask us how it was until my companion had finished the tart. Our server, again, was only anticipating positive comments and I had to repeat myself fairly loudly to draw her attention to the dessert. She was on the ball when she realised I wasn’t happy and immediately offered me something else (but I was not in the mood to eat while my companion watched). She was apologetic and took it off the bill. Someone from the kitchen came out and apologized too. So it was dealt with well once it was pointed out. But overall I had a poor meal because of both the food and the service.

   The Park Bistro is not to be missed! The service is always cheerful and excellent! We enjoyed striped bass with curry sauce was yummy and the filet perfectly prepared. A special dinner in our favorite hotel.

   Either the server or the kitchen ignores any special requests from the diners, such as extra lemon for the calamari or extra sauerkraut on the Rueben.

   Great appetizers and beet salad that was wonderful! Prosciutto and pears an amazing dish! Short ribs fell short and were chewy and not tender. Disappointed on that dish that we chose to share, But still a great evening overall..

   The epitome of fake luxury accompanied by overpriced subpar food and rude waitstaff operating with the idea their sarcastic and off putting comments land well. To start, parking is a disaster with no clearly marked handicapped accessible parking near the restaurant (a massive ADA violation) and it seemed most people parked in unsafe and unmarked areas. While some food items were well made such as the beet salad and mashed potatoes (a side) and the atmosphere was nice, the rest was a disappointment. 3 of my party of 4 ordered the filet mignon as a result of the other menu items having odd pairings. My older father ordered the salmon and the waitress made him feel bad for ordering something different than the rest of us while also making him feel stupid for not knowing the normal temperature a salmon is cooked at. When the food arrived at first glance all appeared well until it felt like I was sawing into a block of wood when trying to cut my steak. Then upon my first bite I wondered if I had actually been served a charcoal brick. I am quite familiar with quality restaurant steaks and understand that it is normal to have a nice char on a steak, this however was not a char it was burnt. A very tiny portion of the already small steak was edible due to the thick burnt crust. For a dinner costing over $300 for 4 people I would expect pleasant waitstaff and food that makes me want to come back for more. This experience was highly disappointing which is a shame as it was an 18th birthday dinner. I hope these criticisms are taken well and improvements are made to ensure no more steaks are wasted and waitstaff learns to adjust their humor to stop being rude to patrons.

   Our waitress was wonderful - attentive but not overly so. Celebratory birthday. Very enjoyable lunch. Relaxed with very high quality fare. A complementary ice cream in puff pastry with Happy Birthday in chocolate was unexpected & thoroughly enjoyed!

   The service was excellent! The appetizers were delightful and my colleague’s meal was great. I ordered the steak frites and although the steak was ordered medium, it arrived very well done. The server offered a different item but since we were cutting it close for another meeting I declined. Will be back again because normally the food and the service is grand!

    I have been to the Park Bistro & Bar before, but tonight I was bringing a special guest with me. And like always, this place is just magnificent.  the staff is just so kind and amiable, and you feel so welcomed. The food is outstanding! Everything about this place is perfection!
