Our lovely open-plan restaurant has traditional oak-beams and contemporary furnishings with a harmonious and relaxing ambience. The perfect setting for you to enjoy a romantic dinner, family celebration or night out with friends.
Our Head Chef and his brigade are passionate about food. Every dish on the frequently changing menu is freshly prepared from the finest ingredients – locally sourced wherever possible.
Norfolk is rich in great produce and our kitchen’s philosophy is based on seasonality, provenance and flavour. Game, fish, meat and vegetables are chosen with care daily. We have a close relationship with the finest suppliers in the county and they know that we insist on buying the best. We don’t do run-of-the-mill at The Parson but we do believe in offering great food cooked with passion and flair.
Special dietary requirements are all happily catered for. Please advise when making your reservation.

    This was a memorable meal for all the right reasons! Warm friendly welcome, great selection of local beers and a well chosen wine list. The staff were amazing and the food was locally sourced, fresh, delicious and generous. We also booked a room for the night and the accommodation is also very good. Highly recommend and we will visit again very soon.

    We always dine at the Parsons on our way from Chesterfield to Norwich and we are never disappointed (except when our choice of menu has already been consumed) . The menu is varied and always cooked to perfection. The staff are always welcoming and polite. In addition there is usually a choice of 3 real ales, although my particular favourite "Jackle" has been discontinued.

    We enjoyed the cosy ambience of this lovely, old building. There was an extensive menu with many different dishes. The food quality was excellent as was the service. We will definitely revisit and recommend.

    Friendly welcome. Drinks served quickly. Excellent choice on menu. Food all arrived in good time and none of us (5)had any complaints. My son and son in law said best food they had for a long time! Only problem no gluten free beer. Starters are more expensive nowadays and that is partly down to the size of them. Could offer smaller plates for less price. We will be back!

    My partner had hake and liked it. I had skate which was good but small. Abbot ale in good condition, there was also Wherry and Ghostship. It’s an ok restaurant and pub, dogs and drinkers there too. They make an effort to satisfy.
