The Pink Door is an independently owned (never cloned, never genetically modified) restaurant that has been quietly dedicated to fresh & local Italian food since 1981. Its seafood & produce driven menu has been the central theme throughout its wildly popular domain in Seattle's Pike Place Market.

From the OpenTable editors: A Seattle favorite since 1981, this Pike Place Market restaurant is where owner Jackie Roberts wholly embraces her Italian American heritage. Think seasonal vegetables dipped in bagna cauda, fettuccine with braised wild boar, and negroni sbagliatos all served in an airy, rustic dining room decked out with white tablecloths and chandeliers.     Elyse was our server- she made our meal experience very special. Despite a busy service time- she was very attentive. I had finally snagged a reservation here - a good friend and my daughter were both visiting from out of town. We sat in the main dining room and had a gorgeous window view of the Pike Market harbor side view. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Hope to dine again soon!

    The service and food were both fabulous, as usual. The Sicilian blood orange salad was absolutely lovely, as were our pasta dishes. Dessert was decadent, and accompanied our espresso martinis wonderfully. The only thing I wish had been different was the volume of the table next to us. It’s normal to hear an overall buzz of background noise, but one person at their table thought everyone around him needed to hear every word he was saying and it was just obnoxious. Why is it always the most dim-witted, uncouth person who decides to make themselves the loudest? It wasn’t even entertaining to overhear.

    Hubby went with small work group for dinner - it was packed on a Wed night! Make sure you have reservations so you’re not disappointed. He said it was a great atmosphere with very eclectic decorations. They sat in the back room and loved it!

    Perfect in every way except noise level and stairs. I live in Port Townsend WA. I go to Seattle several times a year. I go to Pink Door everytime.
