The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Very interesting atmosphere - some staff dressed as pirates and will take you on a tour. Buffet was hot and tasty - definitely try the fried chicken!

Honestly I expected a tourist trap and iffy food. Well… The restaurant is themed but it’s no trap! The atmosphere was pirate fun and the food was delicious. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed for dessert (something we rarely do). The evening ended with a private pirate tour and a trip to the gift shop. The was the second best meal we had on our trip.

Food was great and as ordered. My wife is very picky, and they handled it with no problem. We did the tour after dinner, little cheesy but fun. This is a tourist trap, but in a fun and great way. Will go again when in Savannah. I would learn the history behind the location prior to going, it makes the experience better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. We were seated right away and received tremendous service. Our server was Ali, and she was extremely professional, knowledgeable and had a lovely demeanor. She was very attentive and we look forward to coming back the next time we are in town. The food was delicious!

It was just “okay”. Cool idea with the old house. The food was okay as was the service. It’s a tourist destination. I don’t know that I would dine there again.
