The entire family is sure to enjoy Savannah's most intriguing & historic restaurant. At the Pirates' House, our most precious treasure is the food. Situated in Trustees Garden, merely a scant block from the Savannah River, the Famous Pirates' House is the most historic spot in Georgia. The Herb House, erected in 1734, located inside the Pirates' House, is said to be the oldest house in Georgia. The Pirates' House first opened in 1753 as an inn for seafarers and fast became a meeting point for blood-thirsty pirates & sailors. Parking on site.

Our waiter, Conner, was friendly, courteous, quick, and attentive. The food was fantastic, especially the key lime pie. We commented at the end of the meal that we had a good conversation over our meal and could hear each other. We loved the atmosphere and the after meal tour.

Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed reading the history behind the building. The staff was friendly, and they had a nice variety of food choices. I enjoyed my time. Highly recommend reservations. While they try to accommodate walk-ins, they seemed pretty busy so wait times for others was at least 35-40 minutes.

Way over rated by others. Shrimp (shrimp and grits)was way over cooked. The salad was mostly the root ends. The margarita was mostly sugar syrup. The fried green tomatoes were bland, but ok. The crab cakes were the highlight of the meal. Our waiter was polite and did an average job. This is a place where the waiter holds the electronic device while you decide tip. For a $250 meal, I expect more.

I’ve been there before and had a better experience. Our server seemed to be annoyed that we were there.

Wonderful historic building, great ambience and a real Sunday Southern buffet brunch. Our waitress, Ali, was excellent and a whole lot of fun. We had been before , but returned today because my son was visiting from Vermont. A great place to bring visitors!!

Very neat opportunity to eat at this historic restaurant. My grandkids loved the pirate hat and accessories. The food was good and there’s something for everyone on the menu. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience! It is perfect for family or just a fun night out. It’s not hokey or cheesy but there is a little pirate humor (although I think you can play this up or down) our girls enjoyed themselves immensely. Lots to look at and fun ghost stories.

It was fantastic. If in Savannah, you need to go. Food is excellent and our server, Susan. was top notch! Loved everything about it. Was sorry to miss the tour. But we had another appointment and couldn't wait. Maybe next time
