The Plough Shiplake, pub & dining room that prides itself on offering a delicious, seasonal menu with an excellent drinks selection. The Plough makes you feel special, and at home, all at the same time.

The menu itself is the perfect combination of reinvented pub favourites, with interesting and culinarily creative signature dishes. As well as having a reputation for the best cocktails in Oxfordshire.

The building has been lovely restored; creating a homely, yet modern atmosphere, where it's easy to get lost in conversation for hours. Every table has been given an unique touch and the open fire creates warmth, in both meanings of the word.

                                                  Food portions a bit small and pricey for what they are. Eton mess desert isn’t a great variation of it. Burgers very good and staff. Venue is well designed and stylish.

                                                  Meal with friends to celebrate a birthday. Our first visit to The Plough. It's a lovely setting and we were warmly welcomed. The staff are very attentive and looked after us extremely well. Food was delicious, all four of us enjoying our meals. Everything was well cooked and very tasty. Whilst not an issue for us, portion sizes are on the small side, so could be an issue for some. We will definately be back!

                                                  As three friends we were eager to come and sample the new menu and see what your new chef produced. We were not disappointed and now look forward to another reunion soon. The service was attentive but not intrusive. Would highly recommend.
