   Beautiful space. Great service. It was lively when we arrived at 6:45pm on a Monday! We were impressed by the ‘small plates’, but felt the daily special was underwhelming. Overall, it was a wonderful special occasion treat for me. I will be back.

   Waited 40 minutes for simple sandwiches. Kitchen and wait staff were understaffed!

   We requested to sit outside as we have done previously. The "hostess" stated it gets too cold after sunset. Our reservation was at 5:30, sunset was at 7. We ate then spent an hour outside with wonderful service from the gentleman that was working last night. Love your food; focacia was fantastic, so was the Sea Bass. Would have loved to enjoy it outdoors on your beautiful patio. Jerry & Jody

   Rancho Valencia is spectacularly beautiful & the Pony Room is equally swanky. A great place for lunch or dinner. Excellent service. Very very nice.

   Rushed to order and at every stage of the meal. our appetizers were removed before we were even done - just to immediately get entrees without even a breathe in between. Disappointing that they don’t know how to time a meal at such a “nice” place. Place was nearly empty when we arrived for an early seating so really inexcusable that we were not allowed to enjoy our meal.

    My primary complaint was that we were not seated in the main dining room but escorted to an outside table next to the very noisy bar. As a guest of the hotel, I asked if we could be seated elsewhere but was told we could not despite others being seated in the main dining room after us.
