   This was our third visit to the Potted Lobster and we've always really enjoyed our experiences. Tonight was a bit of a different experience, though it was handled mostly well by the staff. My partner was served a beer which was warm, my starter arrived incomplete and then I found an elastic band in my main course! Staff were apologetic about the elastic band (although told my partner the beer wasn't meant to be cold) and we were given some money off our meal. The food was still delicious though and staff we quick to apologise and make amends for the issues.

   Outstanding meal and service today. Beautiful lemon sole special main and tiramisu special dessert made for a very memorable lunch

   I felt the restaurant was understaffed and it unfortunately had a knock on effect to our level of enjoyment. I didn’t pick well this time however I will try this restaurant again before I leave Bamburgh and will be picking one of the specials .

   Our group of 4 had an excellent meal. Main issue was deciding between all the different menu items as all looked scrummy. Plates were served quickly and food was hot and delicious. Portions were generous. Overall we had a great meal. Thank you Potted Lobster!

   The food was delicious. It is great to visit somewhere that the food is prepared from scratch and cooked by chefs who understand food.

    Very pleasant meal . 2 course set menu , Fish and Chips and dessert . Excellent haddock and decent creme brulee .
