   First I will say the food is wonderful. The service, however, is terrible. We arrived at our reservation time and were told to wait outside. That was 15 min. Once seated it was another 1/2 hour before anyone took our order. It didn’t appear that the staff was overwhelmed, they just didn’t care. We watched as they chatted away with guests completely ignoring those of us waiting to order. We were not alone. We talked to 3 other guests who said the same thing. Don’t go hungry as it could be up to an hour before you see food or drinks for that matter. Maybe order takeout to get the food. It really made for an unhappy dining experience. Maybe they should consider hiring staff to wait tables so they have time to chat with their favorites.

   Delicious food. Lovely environment. Good service. The owner was encouraging and a pure delight. The music was top notch. Highly recommend this restaurant. Wish we lived here so that we could go often!!! Thank you for a memorable experience.

   A nice small restaurant with personal service. The owner was friendly and cooks the meals. We had pasta dishes that were great. The red wine by the glass is great with 5 choices!! The staff was a little over worked with the full restaurant, but with time all turned out well. We will return.

   We went there for Mother’s Day and it was poor. I would not recommend this place. High prices and very mediocre food. The service was poor and lacking. We had a reservation for 5:45 and got there at 5:30 and were made to wait outside for 15 minutes while two parties arriving after us got a table. We started with a $28 Roasted Beet salad it was small and not worth the price. My wife got the Cacio E Pepe and it was tasteless and lacked pepper the main ingredient. I got the pasta bolognese $39 and it was the bland and dry. They never asked how our food was and had to flag them down to pay our bill. Worst experience ever on Maui. Better Italian food one block away at Taverna. A waste of money. The guitar player was great.

   The ambiance was great but the service, though friendly was not great. They did not have enough staff working. We waited quite awhile for each course of our meal. We also waited a long time to get the bill.

   we came in at 5:45 and the place was about 1/3 full. it took us a while to seat as I only saw one server and the manager? we sat and i saw several other tables with menus but no cocktails so I assumed we would have to wait. which we did it did take a while for someone to come over to our table and we found out it was the manager/ owner , not sure. he was very nice and took our order. we heard him talking at another table and said he was from puglia. we talked a bit about Italy as we are moving there. once we got our order in the it sped up a little. I wasn’t sure at first but it’s nice to relax and not be rushed the food the Antipasto salad was amazing chopped salami artichokes olives lettuce tomatoes and an excellent dressing. entrees brown butter cacio e pepe and the toasted tortellini both were great. desert Paia homemade gelato hazelnut was excellent. You will wait here but it was totally worth it.

   We were warmly greeted by the waiter and the owner. The service was almost too fast. Even though our meal was finished, we were assured that we could just sit there and relax and listen to the music.

   They need to hire a real bartender. Our drinks were made incorrectly, and even the replacements were bad. We were there 2 weeks prior, and the same drinks were made perfectly. Then, the kitchen changed one of our entree orders because they were out of ravioli. They should have asked us for a replacement order right away instead of sending out something they came up with. We've been there several times in the past and have always loved the entire experience. This time, everything was off in the restaurant. Hopefully, it will be back to normal on our next visit to Maui.

    The food was good but very overpriced for what you get. They brought me the wrong drink and never offered to correct it. They forgot our salad and then brought us the wrong one. Overall negative experience.
