Located on Main Street in the heart of downtown Greenville, SC, this modern speakeasy offers an intimate and unique cocktail bar experience. The Press Room was designed to honor Greenville’s history and incorporates cherished relics from The Greenville News. From its entrance, evoking an editor’s room, to a menu featuring signature drinks inspired by the newspaper, The Press Room pays tribute to The Greenville News, which stood on the hotel site for more than 75 years.

The Press Room is known for its seasonal pop-up bar experiences and will be launching The Ski Lodge concept from November throughout the winter.

Didn’t realize they change their format every few months. If you have not been here in a while, chances are it is different than the last time. Limited menu. Friendly staff. Cool and quiet vibe.

drinks were average and it was so loud! service was mediocre. we waited for 10 minutes after our reservation time before the hostess came out to greet us, almost thought about leaving because we couldn’t get in

The place was so cool! Harry Potter theme was on point. Drinks were great and so was the food. Prices were a tad ridiculous but good overall. Wish it was bigger but we had a blast and will be back.

The decorations were cute but the food and drinks were pretty awful. The cake was basically just fondant and we had to send a drink back because it tasted like gasoline.

The tartar was the worst tartar I’ve ever had. It was grey and looked and tasted like cat food. Bland and no flavor. Very disappointing. Also, there were so many misspellings on the menu, it was ridiculous. Whoever approved that menu shouldn’t do that job anymore. The drinks were good and the ambiance was nice.

The atmosphere was fantastic but the area was very hot. Maybe too many people? The service was ok. They seemed a little disorganized and got our order wrong, however the drinks and food were outstanding and the theme on point!
