The progress has top notch customer service and you feel very taken care of the whole night. It’s fun to try different options and share them. We got good pictures there too. The duck was the best thing we had and it is very worth it. I will be back for that dish alone!

The Progress serves up a San Francisco-centric, eclectic menu with texture, crunch, unexpected flavor layers, savory plates meant for sharing and commentary. The ambiance is energetic, fun, uncramped—all in a great space. The vegetables, mostly portion of the menu yielded two flavorful and light gateways to the dinner: the Coal-roasted Bok Choy & Crispy Hodo Tofu and the Burrata & Scarlet Runner Beans. The Tierra Vegetables Masa Dumplings capped off the starter with a fun take on bite-sized tots—super fun for a pair to share. The Fried ‘Whole’ McFarland Springs Trout with turmeric-mandarin sauce, curry oil, golden beets, and sprouted lentils was excellent and robust. Get this plate if they are offering it. The Chile Roja-Roasted Don Watson Lamb with carrots, spring onion, and heirloom corn tortillas and a salsa verde fresh. What a great make-your-own dish. Delicious and fun to share for a small group. Overall, a great dining experience.

All I’m going to say is the cloud caviar, citrus salad, harissa cauliflower, wild mushrooms risotto, asparagus toast and roasted duck should be ordered to have the best time !! Highly recommended and highly enjoyed!

Our dinner was amazing! The cauliflower was delicious, as was the sausage and the shrimp. But the star of the show was the duck. It was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely be going back!

The meal was superb. The food was glorious, the service excellent. My only complaint was the noise, the sound system could have been dialed down a bit. The volume made everyone talk louder, so the noise escalated. That said, I would return in a heartbeat.
