Good ok, service adequate. Whole experience ruined by karaoke in main bar, came for a quiet drink meal and chat with friends, had to leave because the noise (and terrible singers) made the visit totally intolerable. The bar was empty bar for us and a group of drunken idiots screeching into a mic. Any other drinkers were sat outside to avoid the noise. Had liked to visit this bar in the past. Won’t ever visit again. Truly awful.

We pre-booked a table upstairs and ordered food. However, despite this, the manager could be heard loudly chastising the staff for taking a food order as there was a “pre-booked” Christmas party. We had to intervene to defend the member of staff. We were then rudely challenged by the manager telling us that he was prioritising the Christmas party. Food was good but the inexperienced, rude and overbearing “manager” tainted the experience. Other staff were helpful but I’m sure they’d be happier in their work without this awful man on a power trip.

We enjoyed yet another divine road Sunday lunch at the Queen's Head. Succulent turkey for him and beef for me, with all the trimmings. The service from Aaron and his team was attentive without being intrusive. Lunch in the orangery is a delight. We can't understand why this place isn't packed out every Sunday. This is the best value Sunday lunch you will find in Birmingham! £12.95 a head. Resist the huge desserts, if you can.

My first visit to pub since it has become the Queens Head. I liked the ambience and decor in pub and the little tables at the front and also the conservatory where I sat with two others. My only gripe would be I had ordered the piri chicken and chips which should have come with pineapple but the pineapple was missing and my friends chose salads but it came without croutons. Nobody came over and asked us if everything was okay with the food either so customer service could have been better. Not sure that I would rush back for food but would go back just for a drink.

Eating at the Queens Head was an enjoyable experience, we were offered a table in the conservatory as there was a rowdy party in the main bar, however, it did not interfere with our experience.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The food was very good apart from strange tasting onion rings? Loved the profiterole cake, very generous portion! Nice buzzy atmosphere and outside tables are a bonus.
