The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." We’ve been to the Hudson location many of times. This location was just as fantastic. Seemed a lot bigger which was great considering reservations for two adults and three kids can be tricky, especially on a holiday such as Valentine’s Day! Our waitress was wonderful and playful with the children. Food was absolutely delish!

Thank goodness for reservations. It was truly packed to say the least. Our food was delicious, we tried the zucchini with tzatziki which was excellent and then shared the farmers market flatbread with vegan cheese. Had enough for lunch the next day. Just as good rewarmed.

Great place for long time friends to connect over brunch! Our server Liz was great and we had a selection of entrees that also accommodated some food allergies. The Thai Sesame bowls were enjoyed by two of us, as well as a delicious and unique Brunch Roll and a GF flatbread. It was a fun Sunday afternoon!

The food was awesome, We will be heading back to try something different on the menu. Flatbreads are out of this world, Had the special Sweet Chill Chicken , Burger and Wood fire honey wings . Server was great , she new the menu and the drinks made some great recommendations on the drink to try. We had and Old fashion that was the best I have had and the wife had the Pineapple cocktail. 5 star for them
