The Rail Trail Flatbread Co., celebrated its grand opening on 12/12/23, marking not only a milestone in Milford's downtown revitalization but also a nod to the original Hudson location's success. Built in a meticulously renovated former bank that features a spacious restaurant and bar, outdoor patio, and upstairs events space, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere.

The Milford location reflects a two-and-a-half-year renovation effort, preserving historical elements like the century-old clock, vault door, and exposed brick walls. The open dining layout encourages interaction, adorned with family photos for a homey feel.

Though famous for flatbreads, Rail Trail boasts diverse offerings, each component is made in-house. Notable flatbreads include "Fig & Walnut" and "Mexican Street Corn," alongside the popular "Primo Pepperoni." Great use of what was formerly a bank. Some very interesting flatbread choices but there was also an option to create your own which meant there was something for everyone. The homemade mozzarella sticks were good. Great draft list - they had Hillstead Farm's Edward on tap.

I had the beet salad, fabulous. Husband and one friend had the lamp gyros. he other friend had a flatbread she created. Also, the fried zucchini are fabulous. This was our friends first time and Im so glad we brought them. they loved it.

Most staff were excellent, including our waitress Priscilla. One staff member was rude and condescending after there was an issue we had with another table. Otherwise, our first experience there was very good.

Had a reservation for 6 and were seated right away. Place had a great vibe with open space and great view of the huge oven. Bonus, large TV with live shot of the oven where you can see the chef cooking the pizza. Not a huge menu, but enough options for every taste. I have a broken ankle and appreciated the handicap bathroom on the main floor. Server was sweet and very efficient. We ordered two three pizzas. Each delicious. The Greek salad was huge and tasty. I had the chicken wrap with delicious fries. The wrap was large by huge and lip smacking good, too half home. Great place.

Great service. Delicious food. It’s loud. And we were seated at the back near the patio doors so kind of worst table and I think the windows amplified the noise level. I was there Friday night (the night before) and it was perfect. Delicious cosmos and highly recommend the Mexican street corn flat bread.

great food - loved the seasonal irish stout beef stew - better than i could have imagined YUM! Great drinks tonight also. Enjoyed our server and appreciate your attention to my seating request - super helpful in making our date night a success due to the need for a quieter space somce my husband is hard of hearing. Longtime fans and will be back soon to try out the italian menu in April 🥰

I made a reservation for 7pm and our table was ready when we arrived. The waitress was attentive. The cauliflower app was delicious and spicy. The market flatbread was crisp around edges but soggy in the center. The noise level from conversations was so loud you could not hear anyone at our table of 3! Not a relaxing environment.
