The Rec Room - Toronto Roundhouse offers a vibrant and fun atmosphere, perfect for families and groups. The "food was fantastic," especially the burgers and chicken wings, while desserts like lava cake are "great." Though some service issues arise, the "attentive staff" often enhance the experience. They enforced a 1 1/2 limit at the table during a busy period despite having empty tables available and having long waits to be served.

What a great decision to host my client, his wife and three children all under 9yrs. Great fun venue. Highly recommend as a destination while you’re down to see the aquarium, CN tower or a ball game. Food was quite good and staff attentive.

Hopping place but not unexpected given location and main purpose - games games games! Food was good and the prices very reasonable for the type of place. It was very busy.

Very fun place! We were in town for just a couple of nights and after a long car ride the kids (8 & 12) needed to run around and the adults needed a beverage! The arcade is a blast, if pricy, but a great way to spend a couple of hours! Convenient location too. Pizza was delicious!

Noisy. Slow service. Very very mediocre food. Very dull and outdated and bland drink selection. The games - all ranging up to the VR games - are all ludicrously overpriced like $10 for a less than 5 minute VR game per person. It's just a grim place and I have no idea how it's often busy beyond just simply it's location luring in tourists and families.

Great food and fun atmosphere. I stopped in with my daughter for a quick dinner after the aquarium CN tower tour. The service was fast and friendly. I reserved online and changed my seating times with no issues. The prices are reasonable. We did decide to comeback that evening and try out the arcade and had a blast.

Paid $70 for 2 games wristbands just before sitting down to our reserved table. Ordered and received drinks promptly but then we were told that the grill was out of order so they were unable to make steaks/burgers/grilled chicken. It was a huge disappointment for our table of 6 as no-one could get their preferred meals (mostly steaks) but we went back to our menus and chose other options. We didn’t have to wait long for our food to arrive. The pizzas were ‘fine’, the mac n cheese’s were mediocre, the chicken wings were enjoyed by my son, but he left most of his fries as they were hard and dry. Lava cake dessert and crème brûlée were both great. We thought it would be a good place to hang out, having travelled 2.5 hrs to get to Toronto to meet family members who had flown in to Toronto for a couple of days. It was quiet which was nice for the game-playing teens. But it was REALLY cold, so much so, that I needed to put my coat on. Staff were friendly and quite attentive, but the lack of and perhaps ‘not the best quality’ food, really let this restaurant down, sadly. I should add, that we didn’t complain, as we wanted to enjoy the short time we had with family.

Billing process took 1 hour and we were the only table. So much confusion and also there was wrong billing as well.
