   2nd visit and completely different from the first. Really enjoyed food 1st time… Very Disappointed this time. Change in menu, with limited choice and actually found it difficult to choose what to have. Food was ok. Wasn’t overly impressed.

   Great choice of starters and main courses, excellent fish dishes. Something for everyone. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. Wine choices are great. All prices were reasonable Be back soon!

   My first visit to Red Herring was a delight. Our waiter Sandy did everything possible to look after me and my two friends the food was delicious and we all loved the food. We can’t wait for our return visit.

   Really lovely food. I had the venison and it was cooked perfectly. Restaurant looks good and nice ambience. Would visit again

   Lovely decor and nice restaurant however food isn’t the greatest. Pizza was undercooked and doughy and prices are a little steep.

    Second visit and aware menu had changed but unaware the sandwich selection on the menu was not available on a Sunday (had been looking forward to a relaxed lunch of sandwich n fries). New menu slightly fussier than previous one albeit the food was tasty and well presented. 45min wait between main course and dessert didn’t bother us as we had plenty to chat about but might have been issue for others on timescale. Will be back but not as regular as we hoped due to menu offerings.
