Gorgeous traditional pub with a beautiful modern refurbishment. Delicious food, smaller portion size but incredibly good quality and filling so vey satisfying. Competitively priced for the environment, quality of food and service. Will recommend to friends and return again ourselves. Thank you x

A warm welcome and excellent food was provided, without all the pretentiousness that some places like to charge you for. There was no rushing us to get finished and the staff enjoyed talking to the 7 month old in our party. We picked the Red Lion as a central meeting point for the family gettogether and we may well do so again as our time there was time well spent on top of the good value for money food. The wide range of foods on the menu meant our fussy family could find something they wanted and enjoy it.

Great surroundings and excellent, attentive service. A couple of points though, the food gets cold very quickly so the offer to have hot plates would be nice. For the bigger eaters, I would like to be offered another roast potato in addition to the Three, which would hardly eat into profits and at Β£22 two pieces of meat is a bit frugal. All in all, it is an honest review, but there are so many improvements since it was our local 17+ years ago. Lots of patronage, so it must suit so many.

What an amazing pub in a medieval village! The Sunday roast was amazing. Service was superb, pudding and coffees were just as good. Only mention would be the cauliflower cheese was a bit too hard and the cheese a bit too runny. But not enough for less than 4.5 stars. Will book again when next near the area. Happy Sunday
