Wonderful experience. Lamb tartare was the perfect size for an appetizer with many complimentary flavors. Roxana, the server, was well versed and knowledgeable about each dish. The manager on duty, Anjeanette, was very friendly and knowledgeable, was able to offer accurate recommendations for beverages, and was not afraid to ask if there was anything she could do to make the experience more enjoyable. The wagyu ribeye was tender, flavorful, and juicy. Should need no further explanation. The coconut cake was delicious as well, and the subtle flavors in it are a nice touch. Would highly recommend a visit

We were excited to try the restaurant at the Albert and to potentially have another high-end restaurant available in Fredericksburg. Unfortunately I think we just tried it too early before they’ve had a chance to work out the kinks. The bar was slow and inefficient, but fine. As I said they are brand new so I’d expect some new opening pain. The decor isn’t finished and feels a bit incomplete and they’re are some issues with the lighting (it’s too bright for dinner). Again fine as they are new. The real problem was the food. The steak was extremely fatty and not a good cut of meat. The preparation was so so to put it bluntly and nothing else stood out. I really do hope they find their footing because I appreciate fine dining in Fredericksburg and would like another great spot, but unfortunately right now with all of the quality choices available I wouldn’t recommend it and won’t go back until I hear they have stepped it up. For nearly $300 for two people I could have easily done better.

We enjoyed seeing the new Hotel Albertbut our dinner at The Restaurant was not up to our expectations. They are very proud of there menu $$$$$. Portions exceedingly small. This is Texas not New York!!!!!

We were excited to try this restaurant for the buzz of the Michelin starred chef…sadly if that’s true, the chef hasn’t brought his skills here. The food was just ok. I think the best thing I had all evening was the coconut cake—now that is worth some serious word-of-mouth, get your butt here, and chow some very worth it calories. The rest of the meal? Not so much.

What I admired most about the experience is feeling like you were anywhere but Fredericksburg. With it being the first hotel fine dining resort it does not disappoint. The amenities & services they offer are of ones you would find in downtown Austin. Hillary the manager on duty was very helpful and accommodating to insure we had the best experience.

Wow!!! This was such an amazing dinner and great time. We will be back anytime we visit. I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp. Had no idea it was a Michelin star chef, beautiful hotel and delicious dinner!!! We enjoyed every single bite of food and cleared all our plates!! The Wagu ribeye was out of this world. All The sides were amazing. Every thing we had was outstanding. You can tell the chef takes pride and respects the food. Nice server and bartender as well. Really loved the evening!

While still riding the start up curve the restaurant put forth some of the top meal we have had in Fredericksburg. Ribeye was excellent and the snapper as good as in restaurants in Houston. Support staff still working out some details but nice evening.

I am really rooting for this place since we visit Fredericksburg often, but they need to work out all the kinks. The restaurant was not busy on a Friday evening and everything took way too long, including our drinks. The greatest disappointment was that my rack of lamb was more raw than my lamb tartar. The service was mediocre and they automatically charged 20% for a table of two! The property appears clean and beautiful and the door staff was very courteous.

Elegance in Fredericksburg!!! Great new restaurant!! Food and service were exceptional!!! Want a Michelin Star quality restaurant? This is the place. The amuse-bouche was exceptional! Appetizers and soup amazing. You could taste every ingredient the chef used. Great wine list!! Entrees were amazing!!! A perfect dining experience. The staff was amazing and exceptionally professional. The manager even stopped by to make sure everything was perfect. She and the entire staff transported you to a 5 star experience. Highly recommend!!!
