   We had the £27.50 set menu for 2 courses. Starters of marinated salmon and mackerel salad were excellent. The sea bass main was perfectly cooked and delicious. Lamb rump was good although the vegetable tapanade was really not to my taste. The restaurant is vast and very tired but service is friendly and helpful. Drinks very expensive but I suppose it’s understandable bearing in mind the location of the hotel.

   Really enjoyed the food, a good selection of dishes, attentive service and charming atmosphere. Very dog friendly. Such a bonus to be able to dine in the company of our dog in a room set aside for dog owners.

   Portion size good for small people but could be larger for people who are larger or done a lot of exercise. Good variety of meals and to have a fresh menu each day.

   Food is very good but service very slow. After our starter we waited 35 mins for our main course. For this reason didn't bother with pudding. Wine is very expensive. Restaurant atmosphere is pleasant - good that they put families with noisy children in a separate part to couples

   Really nice meal with lovely flavours. Staff very pleasant and professional. Only moan is that vegetables I feel should have been part of the meal were a chargeable extra.

   3 course dinner excellent value for money. Good choice on the menu, presented and tasted great. Breakfast was help yourself, all very hot and being refreshed very quickly.
