There’s construction going on that you aren’t aware of till you get there and don’t get a view of the falls or anything. You sit in the lounge area which is okay but not what you’re expecting when paying $200 for a meal.

Great view. Sad to hear the attic won’t be around after remodel. It had better views than the main restaurant. Food was awesome.

The restaurant has beautiful views of the falls, but you will only see it if you’re at a window table. The rest of the restaurant is nice, but very dark. Our food was good-but expensive. Price was decently expected due to the luxury lodge. My husband and I ordered the sirloins, and they came in a large chunk (almost like a filet, vut very chunky). It made slightly difficult to eat and cut. Overall, good meal. Not sure if we would go back outside of convenience if we stay at the lodge again.

The eggs were cooked well. The bacon was good. Salad on a breakfast plate was weird. The biscuits we love were dry, but the honey and blackberry jam were great. The underseasoned yukon potatoes were cut too large and were solid and not cooked through. Once they remembered to bring the scalloped potatoes at the end of the meal, I enjoyed them. Mimosa flight was excellent. Overall, brunch fell very short of what we had last year and what we were expecting this time. We came here for our anniversary last year and it was spectacular. We chose Salish again for our 5th anniversary this year because last year was so memorable, but unfortunately, this was not the case. My husband said at least Denny's would have cooked the potatoes all the way. The service is always great at Salish, but sadly, that's not enough to get us to come back for our next celebration. Quality has significantly declined in the food, which is so sad for such an iconic place that has been known for being outstanding.

We stayed at Salish last year for our anniversary and had an amazing experience and incredible meals, so it was an easy decision to return for our 5th anniversary this year. ,We had a reservation for dinner at the restaurant and ordered the same dish we had last year because it was so delicious and memorable. The Service was outstanding-- our server was detail-oriented, kind, professional, and accommodating. We ordered the clams as an appetizer, which was delicious. The harissa sauce was so good with just a touch of spiciness. The main course, however, was incredibly disappointing. It was not the same delicious meal we had enjoyed the year before, even though we ordered the same item- the filet mignon for 2 at $175. This price was well worth it--LAST YEAR. This year, the steak was tender, but the sauce was bland and flavorless. The brussels sprouts that we ordered again were not the same recipe as last year. They were delectable last year, but this year, they were coated with a creamy vinaigrette, which was very odd and not appetizing at all. The mashed potatoes were okay. Sadly, we had the same disappointing experience at breakfast this year. I'm not sure if there is a new chef or just a new menu, but we are so sad that the quality has declined so much, especially since we thought we had found our special place so close to home.

Waiter was fantastic. Cheesy pop Christmas music missed the vibe. Didn’t know the dining room was still under construction and we’d be in a dated bar vibe area. Will come back when the new renovation is complete to try again.

We always enjoy the Salish Lodge restaurant for breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant space is still under construction until early 2025 so the upstairs (old) bar area makes do. The wait was a bit longer than we expected - 20 min past our reservation - but we got a window table which makes it all worth it. They’ve changed up the menu and a few items we loved aren’t there anymore - including the chicken and waffles, and my favorite, their roasted breakfast potatoes, which was replaced with scalloped potatoes (seems like a dinner item). While the chiliquelas tasted great, the chips and duck confit were both soggy (I like the confit to be crispy). Oatmeal was great. Pancakes were solid. But our favorite for the morning was the pastry basket - loved the ginger scones, apple cinnamon coffee cakes, and the buttermilk biscuits! Service was good. We’ll look to be back in the spring to see the renovation.

Dear Karl, Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure welcoming you! We appreciate you highlighting the wonderful aspects of your visit, especially the service, ginger scones, and buttermilk biscuits! However, we're truly sorry to hear we missed the mark with some of our dishes. Additionally, we understand our main dining room is under renovations, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We hope to welcome you back for a better dining experience. Cheers, The Salish team

We love coming here to celebrate our birthday brunch! Even with the construction there was no change to the fabulosity that is the Salish Lodge. Our three year old loves having “fancy brunch” to celebrate her dad!

The Salish Lodge restaurant had amazing food and service. After getting up several times to try and takes photos out of the window the staff moved us to a window seating. Fabulous amuse bouches.
