   Had the filet mignon and it was so delicious, the sauce that was with it really made it!!!! My partner got gnocchi and added grilled chicken and was really happy with it. The place was nearly empty at prime dinner time, don’t know why. It’s interesting that the food and dining room looked fancy yet the servers were wearing tshirts, jeans and sneakers when the hostess wore a full amazing power suit! The food was great though so that’s more a suggestion for the restaurant to create a clear identity for themselves. Would go back just to order the filet again!

   Just amazing experience at amazing prices. We were able to try many of their small plate offerings as they are well priced.

   The location of this restaurant is where the "Dutch" used to be before closing. While still located in the W Hotel and maintained the same overall internal appearance of the former Dutch restaurant; the new restaurant at the W is a different dining experience. As a former customer of the Dutch, I can say the level of service of both the hosts and especially the servers are significantly lower in quality than the former Dutch. The overall uniform appearance and attitudes of the servers at the current restaurant don't match the elegant dining experience the W Hotel is trying to promote. The servers generally seemed uninterested and not organized well. Uniform appearance looks less professional than many Denny's restaurants or Ihop. Food overall was good, but a much smaller menu at their brunch buffet than the previous Dutch. Had to request our server take our order from the host, as our server did not come to our table after being seated. This restaurant would be significantly better with an overall haul of the restaurant floor staff. Hotel valet also needs training in customer service as they are not attentive when guests arrive. This review is not intended to bash the restaurant or the hotel. Rather, I hope this feedback helps management make improvements to better the overall dining experience.

   My time at the W was a trial run for a business meeting and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was delicious, there were good vegetarian options, and the noise level was perfect for conducting business. I look forward to sending clients to this establishment.

   The Restaurant at the W was, in a word, disappointing. We were literally the only customers. We were not even sure we were in the right place, or that they were open, when we arrived. Our server was very pleasant, but not knowledgeable about the wine list or menu. We ended up deciding to try a couple of appetizers to test the waters before committing to a full meal. Glad we did as the burnt ends were not at all good. Our server was, however, kind enough not to charge us for them. We went elsewhere for the remainder of our meal. This restaurant is not nearly the great experience its predecessor, The Dutch, was.

    We enjoyed our dinner at The Restaurant. It was after a show, so a little later in the evening, so the restaurant only had a few diners. The music and over ambiance of the Restaurant is good. My husband had the Filet Mignon with roast mushrooms in a peppercorn sauce. He enjoyed it very much and said the meat was cooked just right. I had the Cobia with wilted spinach and roast tomatos. My first time trying this fish and it was very good. Both dishes were presented beautifully and our server was attentive but never annoying.
