    We LOVE The Retriever! Our go to dinner in Chestertown! The service is incredible. The staff makes you feel like you are dining in their home. The food is exceptional! Clearly a lot of thought goes into the menu... creating dishes you won't get just anywhere.

    Wonderful overall experience. Wine and food was delicious. Really cool atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. Hope they eventually put a vegetarian option on the menu.

    Our waitress was great. Very informative about the food and just great with her service. Unfortunately we did not like the hamburger-very small, no onions or tomatoes - the rest of the food was good and the oysters great

    The crab soup was incredible. I highly recommend. The Smashburger was enjoyed by my husband and he loved it. He said it wasn’t too much food, which was nice. The bartender was amazing and we met him last time oysters so very very good.
