    Unfortunately, this family favorite dining spot is not as good since being sold to a restaurant group. At lunchtime the restaurant was half full, however our meals took 45 minutes to arrive at our table. We were seated at a table by the windows with the sun blaring in and no pull-down shades to block. My husband had to wear his sunglasses. :-( The menu cards were dirty. The 3-pc. dark meat fried chicken meal came with 3 drumsticks instead of a variety. The chicken fried steak was tough with gristle. To our server's credit, she was attentive and did apologize for the delay. The next time we decide to go out for a family meal, we'll probably choose elsewhere since this was not our first negative experience.

    We had a wonderful experience. The only complaint was the ettoufee was a bit expensive for the amount you got. All other dishes were good portions.

    It was o.k. I'd give it back, but I'd order something different. I saw plenty of patrons whose dishes looked good such as steak, wings etc...I had the grilled chicken pizza and the chicken didn't have any grilled flavor. The house margarita was very good, the queso dip was good but it would be better with traditional tortilla chips for sure versus the house made potato chips.

    We brought my mom here for her birthday because the menu looked like something she would really like. The server did not know the menu and when we ask questions about particular dishes, she couldn't tell us anything about them or what was in them. We sat there for about 15 minutes before we asked someone to please come and bring us drinks. My food was good, but everyone else at the table did not like theirs. It was overpriced and the service was not really service. The one thing I can say though, is the jalapeño burger was really good and the homemade chips were too.

    The food was very tasty, but it was quite noisy and very busy. The server seemed strapped and could not meet the needs of their tables quick enough.

    The rims ambiance was a mix of a new and old New Orleans. With the help of the waitress we curated a TASTY meal for our group. I would recommend the fried green tomatoes.

    Keith was our server for our party of 14 and he was fabulous! He was attentive, made suggestions and kept our party happy with cocktails. Everyone liked their food, bloody Mary’s were impressive and portions were good on food. 3 of us got the biscuits and gravy and were not impressed. The biscuit was big and fluffy but the gravy was just off tasting. The only complaint was the music was a bit loud.
