   Wow, what a gem of a place, we had the most amazing Sunday lunch, the roast dinner was awesome we all gave it a 10/10. The kids had the amazing chicken burger and fish & chips which were also given 10/10. We had exceptional service and a friendly atmosphere, superb. We love The Rock and will be returning next time we come to North Devon at Easter and summer 2025. Thank you for an amazing Sunday afternoon and look forward to returning next year.

   Every time we have been (about twice a year), we enjoy everything about our visit. The food is always amazing and you are made to be so welcome in what is a local village pub. All staff are brilliant as well. AMAZING

   Great welcome and amazing hospitality. Food is superb as usual and plenty of it. Fresh and tasty. Totally recommend the Rock as somewhere to eat and drink.

   What a great evening :-) As soon as we entered the pub on a stormy December evening, we could immediately tell this was going to be a great visit. From the welcoming barman serving excellent ales, the great table service and excellent, appropriately priced food... everything just worked, and the smiles of the staff were infectious with us mere mortals - prompting a great atmosphere. Thanks for a great evening team - see you again in the future.

   Amazing food! Full of flavour, great presentation and great value for money. The pork belly bites were definitely one of the favourites around the table. Service was also very good, everyone was very friendly and helpful, they were happy to have a chat which was lovely.

    We are on holiday so have never been before. Gave it a try and we were blown away with the food, it was incredible, the service was lovely. We have booked again for the roast this Sunday as we were so impressed
