   You have to come here for the uni. It was so fresh, chilled and creamy. It is the freshest that ive tasted uni. Came here for the lunch set meal which is very value for money. If you crave for uni, you wont be disappointed here. They even gave out complimentary drink and appetisers. Everything was good but uni is the main highlight.

   Very attractive advertising but don’t expect too much. Dishes are smaller than you expect but very tasty. First time eating sea urchin. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Interesting location. Plenty parking!

   Service was great, food was OK. Decor was very tacky (upstairs the walls are literally, I mean very literally, lined with aluminium foil). Was overall a bit of a strange experience. My husband and I won't be coming back, unfortunately.

   I attended one event at The Roe and astonished with the food and atmosphere’s. So I decided to gather my work colleagues around 10 ppl came and enjoy the best dining experience at the roe with impeccable service. We have 3-5 courses each person and have some share menu like the seafood platter, sea urchin appetisers and small dishes all with superb quality. My colleagues now will introduce to all their family and friends to come and enjoy at this hidden gem. Would love to try more other dishes when we are there. I will do another event with them for corporate functions.

   The decor was cluttered & looks too busy, some parts of the restaurant (upstairs foyer) looks tacky. Staff are very attentive and service is superb. Food was nothing special - the churashi that I had was too pricey. It wasn't worth $38; a more reasonable price would be $25.

    As a solo diner, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but The Roe completely exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail, from the warm welcome to the beautifully curated menu, made this an exceptional experience. The star of the show is, of course, the sea urchin. Every dish showcased its incredible freshness and delicate flavor. The signature sea urchin dumpling was unlike anything I’ve had before—silky, rich, and bursting with umami. The pairing recommendations were spot on, and I appreciated how the staff took the time to explain the story behind the ingredients. The ambiance was intimate yet vibrant, perfect for both solo dining and special occasions. If you appreciate premium seafood and a unique, sustainable dining experience, The Roe is an absolute must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!
