   Rosemary and Thyme gave us a lovely evening out: broad, appealing menu; excellent, delicious salads, entrees (osso bunco, bronzini, duck) and wine options; and professional, warmly attentive service. The souh, larger dining room in which we sat was noisy, a problem for anone with hearing difficulty; I'm sure we'd have done better in the smaller, north dining room.

   Wonderful experience: lovely room (the smaller room); meatloaf, halibut, salmon...they looked beautiful on the plate and tasted delicious. Our server was terrific. Will return.

   The food was fantastic, and the service couldn't have been better. We were greeted at the door and our friend was wished Happy Birthday by the service staff as we walked in. My wife and I shared the lobster bisque and wedge salad to start, and we both ordered halibut for our entree. She got the watermelon crusted halibut dish and I got mine simply blackened. Both were outstanding and we will order the same thing next time. Dessert was fantastic as well. As a table we had the carrot cake and the flourless chocolate cake. Couldn't have asked for a better overall experience.

   We love Rosemary & Thyme! And what's not to like? In the short period we've been in Sarasota for the first time, we've been to R&T twice. Once, we were indoors, next, we were on the patio. First time, we had the blue crab tostada (a substitute, go read that other review). This time, on a wonderful balmy evening, we thoroughly enjoyed the war breezes, the outdoor ambience, the brick patio, the service, the drinks, the foods, and especially the violinist. To the violinist first, he had the look of an Irish fiddler, but his repertoire of popular selections along with the whole experience was just intoxicating, to the point that we danced a bit. Foods, again we had the tostada, this time with shrimp, and for the first time, lobster bisque. That bisque, wonderfully rich with chunks of lobster and great with flavor, lick the bowl stuff. Entrees, we split a beautiful plate of branzino over rice with asparagus, sauced and with capers, a great portion for two, and just beautifully prepared and delicious. Carrot cake! Yum. If you've had too much before dessert, please, order it to take home. So again, what's not to like? Wonderful.
