    The Rum Fox has fabulous sauces and gravy. I know that’s an odd way to start a review, but it’s a great addition to their beautiful food every time. We were in the restaurant area yesterday, it’s a modern addition with clean lines and big windows. A lovely light and airy space. Previously we have always dined in the bar area, which is more traditional and cosy. Love both dining spaces. Every dish we had was beautiful, served with just the right amount of food and sides. All 3 people in the party really enjoyed our lunch.

    This place is amazing! We’ve traveled over 40 minutes twice in the last few months. The interior is incredible, and the food is even better. Highly recommend.

    This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The welcome was warm and we were shown to our table which happened to be opposite a log fire. Service was prompt and we had a really good meal of cheese soufflé followed by roast pork.

    Fabulous surprise 7 course tasting menu showcasing the best of the restaurant. Each course was perfectly sized and balanced and absolutely delicious. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant with the open fire - already booked to return

    Really enjoyed our delicious food, I had the soufflé, which was soo tasty and then the sea bass which was full of flavour, I was so full I couldn’t manage a sweet. The staff looked after us and the bar area where we were sat was lovely and warm next to the fire, very cosy, especially with all the Christmas lights.
