   We were looking for a place to eat with friends that had a wide variety of food options but also not crazy expensive. The Rutledge is right on the Cumberland River waterfront and has an awesome feel the minute you walk in the door. I'd call it classy modern. The food was delicious and the drinks were awesome! Our waitress was on point and super attentive. I highly recommend the lobster bisque and the truffle fries. Our friends had sushi and really liked it. It's still fairly pricey but not by downtown Nashville standards - and it was worth the cost.

   We were welcomed by 5 hostesses, so there is no wait. We made a reservation but came early and we're still seated immediately and in the booth like we requested. The windows were the only dirty thing in the place. I loved the furniture and lighting. Very chic and give the club vibe. I know it's not for everyone but I love the dance music they were playing. The dirty martini, espresso martini and the sapphire were absolutely perfect. We shared the 1/2 dozen oysters, which were so soft and very flavorful. Then a surf and turf sushi roll. It was mostly bell pepper was really tasty. Last, we shared the salmon with bacon glaze over cous cous and it was just the right amount of tender and moist. So delicious. The waitress, Hannah, was so helpful with suggestions, attentive and with good timing, she didn't have so many tables to wait that she had to stress, and she was just the right amount of friendly/talkative. All other staff was very friendly and attentive. One app, one roll, one entree and 3 cocktail drinks ($16 each) - we paid $150 before tip. Absolutely would recommend this place for date night or any night.

   Went here at 5:30 on a Thursday, before a show at the Schermerhorn. Quiet restaurant at that time (picked up as the night went on). Good service - a bit of an overwaiter though - given I think we were the only table. Food and drinks were terrific. I’d go back but probably not on the early side of things due to the ambiance level falling flat.

   At this time of year do not seat guess buy the door unless absolutely necessary. My guest were cold, our waiter was good, oyster's Rockefeller , lobster mac n cheese, limoncello marscapone cake and cowgirl cosnova were exceptional. My honest assessment of everything else, it was average, we had ribeye, short ribs, scallops and grits, prime rib, creme brulee, and cookies and milk.

   My husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday. It was our first time. Parking was super easy, there is both a garage and an open parking lot next door. We were seated right away and our drink orders were taken. Liberty was our server, she was great! For appetizer we had the crab dip, it was great with the bread as well as with the tortilla chips! Our dinner was great as well! We both enjoyed our meals, it was the perfect dinner date. We will be back again in the near future.

   Changed menu in person but the open table app has the old menu so we had no idea and the new menu quality is severely low and honestly some of the worst food we’ve had. The server was not the issue but became part of the problem when he just avoided the table because of us having complaints. We’ll never return and I was a repeat customer.

   New Years Eve, 2 bartenders, one that was busting her butt taking care of all the house PLUS people sitting at the bar. The blonde was nice but why in the world was she scheduled on such a busy night? She made two drinks in the time the other one made 10! Food was good but not great.

   Wonderful venue for New Year’s Eve. Our server was fantastic, steak bites amazing, and the lobster rolls were delicious! Best NYE!

   Fantastic service. Great food. I haven’t eaten meat in three years, on a whim I ordered the Ribeye with garlic herb butter and mashed potatoes…I was not sorry about it.
