   We booked a table for two to have an early lunch before the rugby match. When we arrived it was busy with many people going to the match having drinks and some like us having food. The greeting was friendly and warm, we were shown to our table where we ordered drinks. The menu as we were told in advance would be restricted but there was still a lot on it, I had the Hake with wonderful vegetables and boiled new potatoes. The sauce was excellent with mussels and many other interesting ingredients, my friend had the Wagu burger and chips which he also enjoyed. The service was prompt and professional. The overall experience was very good and the quality of the food on what was a busy Saturday was excellent.

   Lovely setting. Staff were so nice. Food was gorgeous. Very large portions. Nice to have a drink at the bar before the meal.

   Everything was fine except the seating was a couch . I got them to move us to a high table which was fine . That area was dominated by a big tv screen which was fine by me as I was happy to watch the rugby

   Been a very long time since I was here. Nice menu. Good wine list ( not big but decent wines). Food was a bit disappointing. My main (rib eye) was a bit cold and the meat was not great. Also thought the frites were poor. The rock oysters were good - fresh and meaty. The rhubarb creme brulee was passable but the rhubarb could have been cooked a bit longer. I tasted the chicken wing tarter, the crab cannelloni and the chicken terrine. All perfectly acceptable.

   If you order desert, be aware that it comes only two full spoons of desert. Overpriced for small main dishes that are not quite freshly made.

    Decent food. Bit packed upstairs in the loft. Won’t be in a mad rush back but a decent option around that way. We had a nice night
