We had great service and a delicious meal. Thanks to other reviewers, we had been warned how loud it could get and we were lucky enough to get a little corner table on the entry patio.

It’s a very unique ambiance with eclectic decor. Very casual and a bit crowded. Food and drinks were also eclectic but very tasty!

Fun place with good atmosphere though is a bit loud because of low ceilings and everyone shouting to make themselves heard. Staff are friendly v and attentive. The food is interesting and good. Especially the lamb and Bavette.

The rosy cheeked, farmer’s son looking waiter, Chris, took diligent care of us. The food was outstanding, be prepared to order all the courses. Wine was great too.

I’ll start positive first, the food was very nice, no complaints - The place it’s self is very compact and to be honest, feels uncomfortable from the start. Very disappointed with the service, 3 different people, all doing different things, one was very blunt explaining that if we wanted dessert then we better make a move on! We had just started our mains ! Talking of which, the mains arrived before we had finished our starts and at one stage I thought the server was going to place them down on our table - convinced the only reason he didn’t was because the table was too small :( Ordered white wine, not very cold and no facility to place it in an ice bucket - Asked for ice which which we got but appeared a chore :( - All in all, not a good comfortable pleasant experience. Took a Bowles recommendation from the Sunday Mail - Will read his entries more carefully in future :((

Unfortunately service was not up to standards with multiple mistakes around dietary requirements. Tasting menu was nice but far too small vs price. We have frequented the shed often and feels like it has dropped its standards

We try to get here on each one of our London trips. On this occasion, the restaurant was most helpful. We changed our 18h45 booking to 19h00 very near our due time of arrival & actually arrived @ 19h20. (Traffic problems.) They still found us a table with no fuss. We would not describe the noise level as "energetic", but as so loud to make the dining experience less pleasurable. Please do not follow the example of what had been our favourite London restaurant by cramming ever more tables in. After the most recent experience the noise level was such that we vowed never to go back. Less tables would be better for the dining experience - a preferred alternative to losing fans.
