Nice pub service ok Went for birthday meal group of us. Meals generally ok. However mixed grills did not go down well did not complain as didn't want to cause issue on husbands birthday. Would not say value for money very disappointed would not order again

Fantastic food. Lovely staff. Main was a bit late so given free drinks. Will be returning regularly when lockdown is over. Used to come lots as a child and still as lovely as an adult. Great job!

Excellent value for money, and decent home cooked food. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend & will return.

Food was really lovely and freshly cooked .. the calamari was beautiful and tender and not rubbery like some places .. really nice pub and food

This pub consistently provides excellent value food and service. The Quantity of each dish tends towards the large helping but the flavours are excellent. No money is wasted on embellishments. You go for a good meal and you get a good meal

Absolutely outstanding service. The food was amazing. I loved the lady made sure everyone sanitised their hands upon arriving. They kept the que moving. I felt so safe. I will 100% visit here again when I next visit Peppa pig world. They were so busy but managed to our party in as this booking app apparently wasn't working.

Had a great meal at The Ship, as usual. Unfortunately there was a problem with the booking via Open Table. Despite confirmation of my booking from Open Table, when we got to the Ship, they had no record of the booking. They said that bookings via the Internet were not getting through to them. After a wait of 25 minutes, we were offered a table. The meal was really nice, but the booking experience was not. I won't be using Open Table again.
