    We went for "Happy Hour," and it did not disappoint. 3 to 5 p.m. $5 oysters $5 fish tacos $10 for a nice glass of wine. With eating out expenses sky high, it was nice to feel we were not being 'gouged.'

    The Raw Bar was excellent. The oysters were fresh and flavorful. The dinner, three of us ordered the black cod, was muddy in its flavor. The portion was small. It was smothered in some kind of bean sauce. There was no browned top crust of the fish. It was served with over fried brussels sprouts and fried microgreens. The beans were good. The place was over busy. Not enough wait staff. Service was fair. The drinks were so-so. I would go back for the raw bar but not for dinner. Food was overpriced. The appetizers were overpriced and small.

    Went back to the Shuckery after our last visit about a year ago. Enjoyed great cocktails and bar menu hush puppies in the hotel lobby beforehand. At the restaurant - our server was very attentive. Had 6 half shell oyster, the claim chowder ($12), calamari mixto ($18) and scallops dish ($20) - all very good but the 3 quarter-sized scallops in that dish seemed too skimpy for the price. It left us wanting. Also although we had reservations at 5:30, at 4:30 we stopped by and tried to move it up to 5pm with the hostess - but were told that they were booked solid and that it wasn't possible. Coming back at 5:20, we were seated right away but couldn't help notice that the restaurant was barely 25% full (and didn't get too many more guests thereafter). Odd service.

    The noise from the kitchen was far too loud. There were few regular tables. We sat at a window counter facing the street. Not vey romantic.

    Excellent restaurant. The food was delicious and drinks were perfect! Service was attentive and quick. It was very noisy inside and difficult to hear each other but otherwise great place. Will be back!

    All of our dishes were prepared perfectly. The only problem was having to decide what to order. We had a great meal and Hannah was great!

    we had servers but the one who was awesome was Riley… we came up for the day from berkeley… she would walk by because she was busy , very busy… i will put my finger up to say something and boom , there she was .. the other one would stop and we’d ask for something and she’d never come back.. thankfully riley would always follow through and the hostess would also help us..
