   Other than then the oxtails being tiny and not meaty, the food was absolutely EXCELLENT quite tasty/well seasoned, however, the service not so good. Staff is sufficiently friendly but apparently there isn't sufficient staff. A bit of a wait to get served at the bar, long wait for waitress, we ordered a platter but they neglected to give us plates, we requested water without ice- that never came. Waitress was friendly but she only checked on our table once and by that time we were almost finished dining. Additionally, wait staff should be given pads on which to write food orders as opposed to writing the orders on a napkin. We were disappointed and wished the service would have been as good as their food.

   This was my husband and my 4th time dining at this restaurant. We had a double date and EVERYONE loved the experience, from the exquisite food to the efficient & courteous staff to the wonderful pricing. Everything was AWESOME. We can’t wait for our next visit to Brooklyn just so we can dine at The Simpson ❤️❤️❤️

   I attended on a Friday afternoon, it was busy but overall the service was really good. After a short wait were seated and our server came over almost immediately. Once we ordered the food arrived within a reasonable time. We saw Chef Simpson and thanked him for the amazing food and hospitality 10/10 recommend!

   This place came highly recommended for my birthday! The food was amazing and came so fast. I tried everything that came on the table and was 💯 percent satisfied!Will definitely be back.

   Waited an hour to be hour to be seating before leaving. People with reservations after us were seated before us. Such a disappointing experience.

   Went back, and this time around, I was a bit disappointed. It first started with running out of Mac and Cheese at 9pm. Service was very slow it took 25 minutes for my rum punch to come even though it was good. After seeing another table with some Mac and Cheese, i questioned the waiter, and I was able to get some. Service and food definitely went down from when this location opened. Seemed a bit unter staffed last night . Overall, my Jerk wings, Mac and Chesse, and the Oxtail dinner were overall good.

   Great friendly staff. We were seated right at the time of our reservation as soon as we arrived. The jerk chicken was excellent. Vibrant energy in the high top / bar area.
