   We dined here on our second night at the hotel. The meal was very good, nice piece of trout with tasty crushed potato and a delicious chocolate delice. Service was good and helpful and ambience was pleasant. I could question the prices, not cheap, though my wife’s fish and chips with free glass of wine was very reasonable.

   Had a lovely 2 night stay. Great hospitality and good food. Excellent breakfast with a fare choice that really set us up for the day. Slight hiccup with service on first morning as we were forgotten. Tea and coffee took almost 25 mins to arrive after ordering, and still no breakfast order taken. Original server seemed oblivious as to what was going on, not looking around and checking people had been served. A more senior guy stepped in, and all was quickly resolved. Not a huge choice on dinner menu, but we enjoyed our choices.

   We had a lovely 3 course meal it was cooked to perfection and the staff were friendly & attentive.

   This was a return visit to the Slaughters Country Inn. It was only for a quick bite of lunch but the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and kind

   We had such a lovely afternoon tea in a beautiful restaurant! The scones were amazing and some of the best I’ve ever had.

   We had a wonderful experience here- we wanted a cozy place which was slightly secluded and we got it. We also got engaged here and the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to this and gave us some nice treats and champagne as a form of celebration which was very nice of them. In general the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs and really made the stay very special

   Wonderful service, staff were very attentive. Food was excellent, would have been better if we hadn’t split the sticky toffee soufflé!

    We chose the Slaughters as we were in the area and wanted a pleasant lunch Service and atmosphere in the restaurant was good. Food was acceptable but not outstanding. Although the plates were hot when we received them the food became cold quite quickly which was disappointing. I did not feel the waiters connected with us in any way which would have been nice as there were not many folk eating at the time. Maybe not another visit there!
