    My favorite spot of course! Though I wonder how I’ve fallen off the VG list. First time ever I didn’t get VG service so kinda bummed. Still the best.

    Food was great, but service was super slow. Sat for 40 minutes before getting our raw bar appetizers. We were seated at a horrible table where servers used the space behind us to get to and from the kitchen. Got knocked into constantly. Bummer since visited from out of town.

    The food was good. Portion sizes were on point. The brunch cocktails were included if you purchased certain dishes. The cocktails were hit or miss. Server was slow to notice us but was fairly attentive thereafter - unclear if it was a communication issue with the hostesses that led to the delay - was a solid 10 minutes before anyone brought water to our table & asked for our drink order. We all added on an extra side to our brunch main dishes - something that normally you would expect to include in the dish. With less and less brunch options in DC, this was fine.

    The Smith is consistently outstanding. We had an awesome meal. The place was packed but our server was attentive. I had the soba noodles and added salmon. It was awesome. The others in my party had the vodka penne and gnocchi and they said it was awesome.

    Chara was incredible. The manager Ashanti came by and was chatted with us. She really made us feel important. We plan to come back!

    I value customer service, our waitress Diamond was fantastic. She started our night with recommendations and answered all of our questions with a smile. The food and drinks was great. This was my first time visiting The Smith in DC and I will be back.

    Great ambience and good service. They bring both sparking and still water to the table which is a nice touch. It was pretty busy so the service was not very fast. The food was great and the have a wide selection of wine.
