   I took my niece for a birthday lunch. Either of us had ever been. The food was fabulous (walleye po boy and Brussels sprouts). It was a bit chilly inside but other than that this place is a keeper.

   Great casual ambience! Our waitress was wonderful and very patient with us. We were getting together with friends that we won't see for a while and we are so busy talking that ordering took us quite some time. Food was very yummy.

   Usually one of our favorites to visit. It’s been a few years and our current experience wasn’t as great as the past. Service made us feel forgotten with unfilled water glasses and long visits between checking in. My husband’s Delmonico steak was extremely fatty, under cooked, and overly salty. For $42 he would have addressed it with the waitress but we never saw her after our food arrived until we both had cleaned our plates (we were very hungry) and drank all our drinks and water. We contemplated ordering dessert to help balance the saltiness of the steak, but by the time she arrived we just wanted to leave. Ironically, as we were paying she kept mentioning how we should try desert. It was frustrating. I had the lamb burger and chips which met my expectations. I would definitely go back, but it was a disappointing visit.

   Our server was excellent. They were accommodating and gave us a quiet table in a separate fireplace room. Only somewhat negative was the portion of food was small. But really delicious
